Terms of Service
Last updated 3 September 2026
1. The service
DocsPocket is operated by Dockspocket Ltd. The service lets you store copies of personal documents and receive reminders before they expire. Reminders are a convenience, not a guarantee — you remain responsible for renewing your own documents on time.
2. Your account
You must be at least 16 years old and provide accurate details. Keep your password confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account.
3. Plans and payment
The first 4 documents are free. Paid capacity is billed as a one-year term: 20 documents for the equivalent of 1.39 USD per year, and each additional block of 20 documents for the equivalent of 5 USD per year. The Legacy & Essentials add-on costs the equivalent of 1.39 USD per year. Prices shown in your local currency are converted from USD and may differ slightly from the amount your card issuer charges.
Access lasts exactly one year. We remind you from 20 days before the end date. If you do not renew, documents beyond the free allowance are hidden but not deleted, and reappear when you renew.
4. Right to cancel (EU/UK consumers)
You normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract. By starting to use the paid features immediately you ask us to begin the service during that period; you may still cancel within 14 days and receive a refund proportionate to the unused part of the year. Email support@docspocket.com to cancel. Downgrades take effect at the end of the paid year.
5. Acceptable use
Only upload documents that belong to you or that you are authorised to hold. Do not use DocsPocket for unlawful purposes, to store other people's documents without their knowledge, or to attempt to access another account.
6. Availability and liability
We work to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud. Otherwise our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.
7. Ending the agreement
You can delete your account at any time from the privacy page in your vault; this permanently erases your documents. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, giving notice where reasonably possible.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the country in which you reside if you are a consumer in the EU or UK, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts.
9. Contact
support@docspocket.com for the service, and privacy@docspocket.com for data protection questions.
